Sandra Fitzgerald

Sandra Fitzgerald Collier has over 20 years experience planning meetings and conventions ranging from 25 to 8500 attendees. Sandra uses her extensive expertise to negotiate contracts and plan food and beverage functions that will save companies money while maximizing their budgets.

Sandra’s background as a meeting planner includes 21 years at a transportation association planning meeting in the states as well as international. Her experience has included, Registration Manager, Assistant Director of Meetings and Events, and Director of Convention Services. In these positions Sandra has entered attendee registration data, managed on-site registration, prepare and manage meetings and convention budgets, negotiate contracts such as hotel, audio visual, transportation, etc., supervised all meeting vendors as well as in house exhibit manager and program manager. Sandra has also managed buy out events that have taken place at ESPN Zone in New York City and Disney World in Orlando Florida. Sandra gained valuable experience producing 150+ booth trade shows while managing large, multi-day functions with 150+ sessions and over 600 speakers.

Sandra is a 1988 graduate of Bowie State University. She is also the former PTA President (2012-2014) at Barack Obama Elementary School. She also often attends professional conferences such as American Society and Executives (ASAE) and Meeting Professionals Internationals (MPI).
